Seeing doc

  • Apr. 7th, 2009 at 2:31 PM

Went to see my family doc today after bout of diarrhoea and Im quite surprised to see him aged so much....the moment I look at him, I felt nostalgic and sad at the same time. Has it been so long since I stayed at my neighbourhood? The answer is yes, almost 15 years. And how many 15 years do we get in a lifetime? Not a lot really.. He is still as kind as ever and I realise that he kinda watched me grew up in a way. It reminded me of mortality and the passage of time.

Life is too short to be wasted contemplating on things that never are, things that never will be and things past. Remember to live life unto the Lord and live fullest. :D

So I got some free time on my hand...and end up watching CG even though I told myself not to initially when it first came out. The season one began in 2006 and I got wind of it due to Sakurai voice-acting inside. Read more... )

Natsume Yuujinchou

  • Dec. 8th, 2008 at 10:18 PM

It's been a while since I have time to sit down and watch some anime....and Natsume Yuujinchou is the first series I've picked up for this fall. Read more... )

Another thing to update is that I've gotten the Saiunkoku's latest novel. can't wait to finish reading the latest instalment. Now all I need is KKM's new novel to be out quickly so that I can find out what's happening to Yuuri soon..

Monochrome Factor - Blatant Bleach Ripoff?

  • Jul. 8th, 2008 at 7:57 PM

I've watched monochrome factor a while ago. First impression was hmmm....yaoi much? Of course it turned out that the yaoi portion was more for show than anything. It just doesn't take itself seriously anyway (much like KKM I supposed). Anyway due to distractions and all, I dropped the show for a while. Read more... )

The Logic Of Life - Tim Harford

  • Jun. 16th, 2008 at 9:43 PM

If there's one thing I've learnt from the book, it's that experiments conducted in laboratory settings by behavioural economists need not necessarily be accurate representations of real-life decisions. Read more... )

Exam woes

  • May. 27th, 2008 at 12:05 AM

Very busy now....with exams preparation. In a way, I did ask for it myself by signing up for the exam.....but still.....

Got many things that I would like to do after exams' over. Going to continue picking up keyboard, start reading all the books that I haven't got a chance to read, watch more shows (not that I'm not watching now anyway) etc.

KKM again??

  • Mar. 15th, 2008 at 10:59 PM

Its been almost more than a year since I watch KKM (I kinda lost track after a while when the subs did not come quickly) but recently I had the time to rewatch some of the more memorable episodes and man.......it really awoke all the KKM love I used to have for Yuuri-heika hahaha

Made a new icon

  • Mar. 9th, 2008 at 3:12 PM

Yippe I just made a new icon. Its of Hiruma Yoichi and its animated in flash. Granted its not the best (seeing how I couldn't be bothered to test how it looked like before uploading it) but I'm still proud of my little accomplishment. And Hiruma's face was so cute as he spoofs Sena and Monta's reaction before reverting to his usual self. *grins*

Saiunkoku Gaiden 3

  • Oct. 26th, 2007 at 12:52 AM

Wow Saiunkoku really made my day by releasing the Gaiden so quickly after the latest instalment of the novel. Can't wait to see what antics Shurei, Seiran, Ryuuki and co will cook up this time round. :)

To think the book will be release next Thurs in Japan.......*grins* this time round I'm gonna hop quickly to Liang Court (hopefully the Kino there would import the novel via air shipment and I can get the book a few days after 1 Nov.)

Yippee~~~

Ouran High School Host Club

  • Apr. 22nd, 2007 at 7:06 PM

Recently I'm re-watching Ouran again. As usual, my favourite character should be Suoh Tamaki cause I like prince-type....:) Come again, Harukimi and Ouran does have some similarities ne.

On another note, Shounen Onmyouji has ended. While I'm not expecting it to be a long series (though the novels are still going on), its still a bit sad to see Masahiro and Mokkun go....ah well.

Also, Saiunkoku 11 is out. Been bugging Kino about their stock and I'm expecting to read the raw by end of next week or so. Can't wait to find out what kind of a character Ran-hime is like.....:-)

That's all for the moment. Kono nooto ni wa RL no koto wa kinshi sareta.

Saiunkoku Monogatari

  • Feb. 18th, 2007 at 10:19 AM

彩雲国物語

Saiunkoku Monogatari, the land of many legends and stories. The anime has 39 episodes in the first season and is slated for another season April this year. I've watched this recently (my fav character is Ryuuki) and hopefully I can collect all the novels soon. The raw scans are somewhere on net but nothing beats the feel of paper in my hands. ^_^

Kogepan

  • Nov. 12th, 2006 at 11:51 PM

Do you still remember Kogepan? I remember my friends and I used to discuss what Kogepan was until someone told us that he's a burnt bread. And you just don't know how people can make merchandise out of it....and why its so cute.

I just found Kogepan on YT and I must say.....Kogepan rocks!! Such a cute little fellow. Drunk on MILK? Hahha...that's so funny man....Watching Kogepan is like bringing me back to the past you know....where you are still in upper secondary laughing with your friends over silly stuff back then.

After a year of hiatus

  • Oct. 2nd, 2006 at 9:37 PM

After a year of hiatus, I'm back with LJ again.....not that I ever left. And I made my first user-pic...which is of Kobayakawa Sena from Eyeshield 21. Interesting anime....

Working means less time for myself.....and less time for hobbies. Even though my aim is still to improve my flash skills and web-editing skills, it takes time and energy. Not to mention I'm trying to study Japanese at the same time so that I can understand and translate more animes and drama cds.....ganbaru shika nai saa...
